Holosun P.ID Weaponlight: Identify Your Targets
Positive target identification isn’t just an important part of defensive firearms use, it’s vital. IDing your target doesn’t have to be complex, though; well-made weapon-mounted lights get the job done. The Holosun P.ID (Positive Identification) is a weapon-mounted light designed for handguns in a compact platform to streamline overall size while delivering the best possible performance.
From Holosun regarding the weapon-mounted light:
The P.ID series of weapon lights are compact, and powerful pistol mounted white lights that are designed for Positive IDentification of threats in low or no light conditions. The P.ID attaches to any firearm that uses a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and includes adapters for universal compatibility.
The Holosun P.ID line includes four models: The P.I.D., P.ID.-HC, P.ID. Plus, and P.ID. Dual. Lumens and candela vary by model. For example, the standard P.I.D. produces 23,000 candela on high output while the P.ID.-HC delivers 42,000 candela on high. All models have black housings and weigh approximately 5 ounces. The Plus and Dual versions also feature green lasers.
